From an idea to venture out by themselves they have created a strong household name over the past 30+ years and have seen the company grow from Shane tackling all that he could himself, to now a team of over thirteen full-time team members, many of whom have been with the company for a number of years and all who carry the pride to consistently deliver on the principles of quality that Gibbons Engineering was founded upon. Our team includes qualified engineers, qualified welders and apprentices.
As a result of being quality driven, the past 30th years has seen Gibbons Engineering become the leading ute deck and commercial trailer manufacturer in the central North Island. But further to this, we are also known as a general engineering company who undertake all aspects of steel fabrication and specialize in commercial buildings. The household name that once only related to commercial trailers and ute decks, is now being identified as a leader in the field of general engineering and commercial building fabrication.
